Experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Liz Mulwa is an English & Swahili-speaking Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with extensive experience in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practice as a clinician, informatics specialist, Nurse Leader, and a charge nurse.
She earned her nursing undergraduate and Master of Science Nursing Informatics degrees from Excelsior University, Albany, New York, in 2009 & 2016, respectively. She acquired her postgraduate certification in Psychiatry and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey.
Qualifications & Credentials
- APN, PMHNP-BC, Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
- Master of Science Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practice, Nursing degree, Clinical Herbalism, and Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Medication Management
When a condition requires daily/weekly/monthly medication for optimal mental wellness, we ensure the client’s prescribed set of medications and any complementary therapies do not interfere with each other negatively. We collaborate with our client’s physicians, family members, and anyone in their care team for safe medication administration. We ensure timely reviews so that doses are not missed. When adjustments are necessary, we do so and constantly educate our clients on their medications
